East Geelong

We tackled a massive roof overhaul for a gorgeous 1970s home in East Geelong, a true standout with bay windows, Dutch gables, and heritage-style guttering. The original terracotta tile roof, with pitches varying from 35 to 60 degrees, was a challenge we were excited to take on. Its intricate design and beautiful architectural elements demanded precision to preserve the home’s unique charm while delivering a modern, durable upgrade.

At Pro Flow Roof Plumbing, we don’t cut corners—every detail matters. Working with our building crew, we replaced rotten fascia, fully undercoating and painting all fascia and eaves for a flawless finish. We redesigned the outdated box guttering for optimal flow, ensuring it meets today’s standards. Old skylights were upgraded with new framing, plaster, and paint, while heritage Ogee-style guttering with return stop ends and timber scotia maintained the classic look. To boost energy efficiency, we installed R6 ceiling insulation throughout and added 60mm fiberglass blanket insulation under the roof, addressing the home’s previous lack of insulation. New Truecore steel battens and Colorbond Custom Orb sheeting in Woodland Grey completed the sleek, modern transformation.

The result is a stunning, energy-efficient roof that enhances this beautiful home’s character and durability. The client was thrilled with the outcome, and we’re proud to have delivered a stress-free, top-quality solution. Got a roof that needs some love? We’re ready to make it shine!
