We were thrilled to team up with Sam I Am Builders on one of their first passive home projects in Geelong\u2019s growing Armstrong Creek area, Mount Duneed. This 2023 new-build aimed for an impressive 8-star energy rating, embracing Passivhaus principles with features like structural insulated panels (SIPs) and a heat recovery ventilation system. Our job at Pro Flow Roof Plumbing? Deliver a roof that matched the home\u2019s eco-conscious design with top-notch quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This project demanded precision to protect the home\u2019s external thermal layer, a key part of its energy efficiency. We worked closely with the builder, using custom battens to ensure a flawless fit while maintaining the thermal barrier\u2019s integrity. The roof, clad in sleek .48 BMT Colorbond Screwdeck profile sheeting in Monument, gives the home a bold, modern look. To top it off, we installed elegant half-round gutters and round Colorbond downpipes, complementing the architectural vibe perfectly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our team took extra care to meet the high standards of this sustainable build, ensuring every detail\u2014from battens to flashings\u2014was spot-on. The result is a durable, stylish roof that not only enhances the home\u2019s aesthetic but also supports its energy-saving goals.
